I lived in Vicenza from Jan 1968-May 1970, Jun 1971-Jul 1975, Sep 1985-Jun 2003. I love Italia with all my heart and most of my life there was of fond memories. Your beautiful site lets me relive those most beautiful areas and history. My son, Donato, now 29 years old, was born there also. HI, i was over in italy from December untill june 2003..My X husband was in the army..Im wanting to come back over there.Im haveing a hard time looking For a place to stay.OR cheap hotels..I stayed at hotel mary,when i first came to italy..Im looking into liveing over there, That would be so great. If anyone who reads this wouldnt mind me staying with them i would do the same for you,I live in cincinnati,ohio.When ever you want to come vist,I can tell you know you will have a blast.Anyways if someone can help me with a cheap, hotel, or someone letting me stay with them i would like that alot thanks..

Hello,
I want to say that I lived in Vicenza (Torri Di Quartosolo)1977-1980. Will I was there I fell in Love with your Town/Country and most of all a Family I LOVE very much that is mention above.
This loving family showed me what LOVE was all about. I lived with them for about 3 years. Again I met her parents which I loved very much, but now they are living above in God's Country. I haven't seen this family for about 23 years, we talk on the phone a lot, but it's not really the same as being there. I wish so much, that I could come and see them, but that's on a hold right now. I remember the wonderful days we had on Christmas/New Years/Birthdays and most of all the beach in August. Staying on the beach for 30 days was so wonderful. I always refer them as my family our love was built on trust/honest/respect/ and anything that falls between those words. I wish America would me more like Italy. If you could would you place a phone call and tell them I Love and Miss them very much.And say Happy Birthday to Denni, November 9th. Another Happy Bithday to their daughter on November 16.
